  • Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan1, 1992

The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 1992 states in its 50th Article that “All citizens shall protect the environment.”
Article 54 also states that “an owner shall possess, use and dispose of his property. The use of any property must not be harmful to the ecological environment, nor shall it infringe on the rights and legally protected interests of citizens, juridical entities or the state.”
